(SOCIAL WORK SERVICES)
I have 10 years counselling experience working with individuals, couples and families. Currently I work in Georgetown and area. I have extensive experience working with diverse populations, and thereby understand the importance of adapting to and being flexible with individuals from varying ages and backgrounds; being empathetic and respectful of the unique needs and situations of each individual; and working collaboratively with individuals, couples, and families to support and assist them in their effort to move towards optimal wellness.
In working towards work life balance, I found that yoga and mindfulness practices helped in different areas of my own life. With such love for yoga, I decided to get yoga teacher training in 2014 as a way to incorporate it further personally as well as professionally.
